Abstract

Creativity is an important aspect of learning. Creativity can be trained and developed through various activities, one of which is training in designing images using the Autocad application. The aim of this research is to examine whether training in designing drawings using the Autocad application can increase vocational school students' learning creativity. The research flow starts from formulating the problem, preparing research instruments and determining the population, training in designing drawings using the AutoCAD application, data collection and instrument testing, data analysis and drawing conclusions. Based on the type of data obtained, this research was carried out using quantitative methods and the population in the research were students of YAPPA Class XI Vocational School with a sample of 55 students. The research instrument used a questionnaire given via Googleform as a data collection tool. The data obtained was subjected to a bivariate Pearson validity test with the r value of the product moment table and a 5% significance level of 0.266. The test results show that training in designing drawings using the AutoCAD application can have a positive influence on vocational school students' learning creativity. With a regression coefficient of 0.063, it means that if the training variable for designing drawings using the AutoCAD application increases by 1 (one) unit, then the student's learning creativity score will increase by 0.603. and R Square of 0.396 indicates that the combination of training variables for designing drawings using the AutoCAD application will influence the learning creativity variable of YAPPA Vocational School students by 39.6%
