Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the infiuence of organizational culture and work competence partially or simultaneously to organizational commitment, and to know the infiuence of organizational culture, work competence, and organizational commitment partially or simultaneously to employee performance. The research method used was descriptive survey method and explanatory survey with sample size of 332 respondents, taken from population amounted to 1977. Data analysis method used was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Based on the results of the research, the findings are as follows: organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. Work competence has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. Organizational culture and work competence simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment with contribution (R2) 61%. Partially, it turns out that work competence is more dominant in affecting organizational commitment. Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significcint effect on employee performance. Organizational culture, work competence, and organizational commitment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with contribution (R2) 79% Partially, iI turns out organizational culture more dominant infiuence employee performance. This research recommends to increase organizational commitment, which can he done by improving work competence firstly through improvement of knowledge dimension (X6). Improving employee performance can be done by improving organizational culture through result orientation dimension (X2).
