Abstract

Researchers have studied the business performance problems of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) with dependent variables such as number of employees, company turnover, type of business, company age, level of education, business experience and gender. This study focuses on improving the performance of SME businesses after using governance guidelines and holistic marketing in their businesses. The object of research is the managers and entrepreneurs of SME who live in Bekasi, West Java. Hypothesis testing uses multy regression with SEM. This research is expected to produce a model of SME business management that is effective, easy to understand and use for Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) in Indonesia. The results of this study found that the financial governance model has a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of SMEs, especially on proper budgeting. The holistic marketing governance model has a positive and significant effect on the performance of SMEs, especially in the Integrated marketing program. Therefore, the financial governance model and holistic marketing together also have an effect on improving the performance of SMEs in Bekasi, with the most dominant variable being the holistic marketing governance model of SME.
