Abstract

This study investigates the effects of Bank Indonesia Wadiah Certificate Bonus (SWBI), The Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and The inflation rate on the Net Asset Value Net Asset Value) of the Syariah Mutual fund, partially and simultaneous. Danareksa Syariah Berimbang of PT. Danareksa Investment Management is the Syariah Mutual Fund researched in this study. The NAV of Danareksa Syariah Berimbang becomes the dependent variable and SWBI, JII and the Inflation rates become the independent variables. First, this study tries to find the better return between the NAV of Danareksa Syariah Berimbang and the interest rate of the bank time deposits as a simple comparison. And then, with the help of statistical software (SPSS v.13.0) output, it tries to indicate the effects of the three variables independent on the dependent variable. Overall, the results support the predictions of this study. We found that along this studying period, the return of Danareksa Syariah Berimbang NAV is better than the return of the interest rate of the bank time deposits. And with the statistically analyzing output, we found that partially, only the JII variable has the significantly and positively influence on the NAV of Danareksa syariah berimbang. And simultaneous, all independent variables influence the NAV Danareksa Syariah Berimbang significantly and positively. Keywords: Syariah, NAV, SWBI Bonus, JII, and Inflation rates.
